Sharmen Lane is a twelve-year veteran of the mortgage industry with experience in both wholesale and retail segments. Her background includes sales, sales management, processing, account managing, underwriting, marketing, and secondary marketing, and has served as an executive vice president.

Sharmen has trained thousands of Loan Officers and Account Executives, helping many with no previous mortgage experience to realize their goal of becoming multi-million dollar producers. She has been a speaker for Close More University and has trained hundreds of Loan Officers through LoanOfficerSchool.com

She has expanded her career to include professional speaking, consulting, and life coaching. Also, along with writing articles for the mortgage industry, Sharmen has followed her passion for assisting children dealing with special needs, illness, or poverty by writing her first book (just published!), “Why Am I Special?" for preschool-age children.

Sharmen Lane is a member of the National Speakers Association.

She is involved in many children’s organizations including the March of Dimes which works for the prevention and cure of birth defects and premature births. Sharmen contributes to and volunteers for the Make A Wish Foundation, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and Shelter Network. Sharmen believes in giving back to the community and encourages all she comes in contact with to do the same.
