Originating his first loan in 1992, Todd Carpenter has watched the explosion of technology harnessed by mortgage brokers revolutionize the lending industry. Todd moved into the wholesale sector in 1996, and joined Washtenaw Mortgage Company in 98. After some time with LION Inc., another mortgage website developer, and Commonwealth United, a leading wholesale lender, Todd again took the pioneer route and built the first blog dedicated to mortgage brokers, and the industry as a whole.
